Diamondback's Aeroflex Freshwater reels are heavily ported five-axis machined reels with smart design features for optimal performance on the water. Available in 3/4 and 5/6 sizes that cover the popular trout line weights, they are versatile and powerful, with a sleek gloss black finish and aqua blue “diamond fish” logo accents on the drag hub and spool retainer. The fully enclosed frame has a tight tolerance between the frame and spool, providing versatility for standard fly lines or nymphing tactics with mono leaders.

The wide, oversized drag knob with a raised surface can be easily gripped and turned without looking, helping you focus on the fish when the fight requires you to quickly release or apply additional drag pressure. The powerful enclosed drag column provides smooth force well beyond freshwater applications, so you will never run out of stopping power when you need it, and the vented drag column prevents water retention in the drag while wet. Aeroflex Freshwater reels feature a light audible click on the retrieve and when the drag is engaged. All Aeroflex reels feature a one-way clutch bearing that can be flipped to switch the retrieve from left hand to right hand.
