We offer world-class Atlantic Salmon fishing June through September on the Restigouche, Miramichi and Grande rivers. This time of year is prime to pursue wild Atlantic salmon as they venture from a year or more in the open ocean into inland fresh-water rivers to spawn, a journey that can span more than 2,500 miles. Their incredible life history accounts for part of their appeal. Their great strength is what draws anglers from around the world to swing their best flies in hope of duping these seasoned travelers. Those skilled or lucky enough to find success had better hold on to their fly rod because the king of game fish will not go quietly. Absolutely nothing compares to the excitement of a powerful Atlantic Salmon taking a fly.

ABOUT: The Restigouche River Lodge is located on 3 miles of crystal clear, Atlantic Salmon fly fish water at the junction of the Matapedia River in New Brunswick, Canada. It is the first camp on the salmon's journey up the Restigouche. Many anglers consider the Restigouche River the best Atlantic salmon water in the world. In 2008, although only a few of our property’s vast array of pools were fished, 183 Atlantic Salmon were landed and released. The big fish of 2008 was taken in May and weighed in just over 40lbs. In addition to the Atlantic salmon fishing, trophy sea trout are taken from the end of May until mid-June and again in September.

ACCOMMODATIONS: The Restigouche Lodge features comfortable accommodations for up to 10 anglers, as well as a spacious lounge with a panoramic view of the Restigouche River and the surrounding Chic-chocs Mountains. Our chef prepares three meals each day for a dining experience unmatched on the Gaspe peninsula.
